Dr. Phidelia Theresa Doegah is a Research Fellow with the Institute of Health Research at the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ghana.
Education
She had her degree in Psychology at the University of Ghana and pursued a Masters in Art (MA) and Masters in Philosophy (MPhil) at the Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS) at the University of Ghana. She had her PhD in Population Studies at the North-West University, South Africa.
Work experience
She served on a project team at the North-West University and supervised several projects for RIPS such as Barriers to condom use in Ghana, Attitude and health seeking behaviour related to non-communicable disease (NCD) among children, Urban Health and Poverty in Accra. She has also served as a Research Assistant at RIPS.
Science /Research output
Dr. Doegah’s research area is in Population and health especially maternal health and lifestyle behaviours. She has few publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as conference presentations.
